This October, history will be made in Accra as the world’s premier jazz ensemble — the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra (JLCO) led by legendary trumpeter Wynton Marsalis — comes to Ghana for the very first time.

From New York to Accra, this cultural exchange marks a powerful homecoming, celebrating jazz as a global language of unity, heritage, and freedom. Ghana will host two unforgettable nights of music, alongside masterclasses, community engagement, and cultural immersion activities.

Education & Outreach
Beyond the stage, the JLCO and Wynton Marsalis will engage with young Ghanaian musicians through workshops, masterclasses, and exchanges in partnership with the Accra Jazz Academy.
